Cruise control and MFSW retro fit problem T5

Hi I was wandering if someone could help I have retro fitted MFSW
switches to my Steering Wheel fitted air bag loom and wired to BCM etc
recoded and horn switches all work fine happy days.

I have then retro fitted Cruise control recoded and all works fine on
dash perfect as it should do, but the horn and MFSW now does not work I
have been told by VW that as I have a trip on the the new cruise stalk
that the BCM is getting confused between the MFSW and the trip but I
had a trip on the original stalk and it worked fine.

V W have told me that I need to disable the Multifunction display unsure if this will fix it but
when I try to do this I get coding rejected error 31 out of range.

Hi Steve, have you got the correct wheel, the one with the small Gray ribbon cable running from the left to right switches behind the airbag?

Hi yes a large black multi plug from centre of wheel to left switch and then small grey ribbon from left switch to right switch.

just missing your MFSW in your Scan. Something like this is requested in "09"

Well I think I have got to the bottom of this took air bag assembly and MFSW switches off the missus golf 2010, and plugged into the van and they iluminate and work as they should Yepeee, plugged them into missus golf to iliminate the van air bag loom and they still did not work,can't belive they were working all I have done is changed stalk for cruise and now they don't work does anyone know if there are any common problems with MFSW switches. Thanks for the replys
