Probably needs a G450 differential pressure sensor, definitely needs the exhaust pressure control flap un-stuck and lubricated, and then I'd clear all the fault codes and watch for when (if?) the various no communications with ECM codes come back.

i have replaced the g 450 sensor before, am i getting the no communication due to the fault codes? i also had to put new cooling fan in the car it does not come on. the weather is around 60 here the fans will not come on car runs at 190. i can turn them on through vag com, but thats about it even with ac on(which does not work either), neither of them come on. do i have to do the adapdation when i do the g450 sensor, i did not have vag com at the time i replaced them.

Nope ...........either bad ecu, supply, or grounds being interrupted by ignition switch, terminal 15 or 30 relay etc..

Could even be faulty wire on CAN twisted High/Low or gateway issue.

Recode all and clear DTC's to commence and observe adv. measuring blocks in VCDS for 125 series channels on COM while even logged.

I would check the terminal 15 relay and ignition switch.

No Faults Found
or DTCs not supported by controller
or a communication error occurred

After clearing codes wait at least 2 minutes before cycling the key back on and wait while things adapt being turned back on for 2 minutes before starting the car.

I recommend defaulting the eeprom by recoding.

ok cleared all dtc car sat for a long time so im guessing a lot if issues was due to the low batterty.

I've done that already still pops up. The radio communication I am not worried about. In the past the car acted up I took the key out to shut it off and the car was still running like the key was in it. I put it back in and it shut it down and never happened again. I'm just at wits end with this thing

The only thing I am concerned about is the instrument code. I have an aftermarket radio in the vehicle with all door speakers and everything. I think all my codes are clear except the g(450) sensor. I replaced the one behind the oil cap and did the adaptation. This code has probably been on for about 60k. Should I be looking into the tubes going down to the dpf?

I fee bad(teacher told me no question is dumb) with the after market head unit I have also installed the steering wheel control module for the radio. This enables the controls to still work, volume station etc. can that be throwing the instrument code?

Yes rotor router the pipes with wire snake.
If in question which sensor is which, swap and see if fault moves.

I'm getting ignition switch today, when I turn on Ac the fans do not turn I'm pretty sure it's the Ac control valve that's bad. I just out brand new fan in and works through vag com. Ac does not kick on either. Any suggestions

Just put sensors in and adapted immediately replaced both. I checked voltages on both the 1 (left of the oil cap has good ground and 5-5.5volts out of the blue wire and the black. The other(behind oil cap) and according to the wiring diagrams should have the same, I realized the black wire only has 3 volts without car running and dropped to half a volt with car running. I'm assuming I have a chaffed wire or poor pin connection. You guys have been more then helpful. I also replaced ignition switch which was giving me some issues. I put the updated exhaust flap (has boot to stop corrosion) in also does that need and adaptation? It seems to be working through the program.

Special Notes

This Fault Code often indicates an incorrect/incompatible Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450) being installed. VAG uses two different types of sensors:

through MY 2009 = 076-906-051-A (formerly 03G-906-051-A)

from MY 2010 = 076-906-051-B

If in doubt check the Part Number of the Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450) and compare it against the Parts Catalog.

With CBEA and CJAA engines, the factory documentation may show the wrong part location for the Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450). This sensor is in a foil pouch just behind the oil cap.
