My trusty steed, a few minutes after it passed through 82k miles. It's draining oil as I type and is about to nudge 84k miles. Pic taken a few weeks ago as I came back across eastern WA, above the Columbia River.
Also my LG G3

A few steps to the West. The dark rainy shit is where I was headed.

^ ^^^^^ Arhhh.............what a city - and perfectly framed by the roulettes (showing the flag colours of just about every English/French and Dutch country) on a bright sunny day !!

Thanks Don - I'm truly humbled. :o

This was taken from the rail deck of the High Level Bridge - I suppose a privilege of working for the railway company here. For those unsure, Don is teasing me with the 'Roulettes' reference; who are a magnificent RAAF display team, whereas these are the Red Arrows, the RAF display team. (Pronounced 'Red Arraz' in the Geordie tongue). This occasion is the 2014 Great North Run.

Zenerdiode: It's amazing (IMO) how so few words written by someone can say so much about their personality! You are being extremely generous (and very kind) in assuming my faux-pas was a tease. If fact it was my error - but thanks anyway

Those of us who (1) love vintage railroad engineering/architecture, and (2) live in a country that separated itself from anything "royal" almost 240 years ago thank both of you for your explanations.....

Shot literally from the hip with an early 2000's Olympus 4 megapixel camera, while crossing the street in Covington, Georgia:

I was floored at how well it came out...or even that it was in focus considering that I had about 5 seconds to pull the camera out of my pocket and open the lens.....
