So now the question is, what's keeping it from being able to talk to the server?

Any suggestions on what I should try to figure out why it isn't talking to the server?

Yes, looks that way. I think we're going to swap that one out for you. Since it's Friday evening, we can't get that moving until Monday though. Is there an issue with the device?

Luis, I was able to tweak something on our side to work around this. Please try doing the update with a browser again and let us know how it goes.

I am also having trouble updating my HEX-NET. I've got it connected to my wifi network in Infrastructure mode. It has it's own IP on the network. I can log in to it from my computer or phone using VCDS Mobile. When I go to update it, it times out.
A Self Test reveals mostly ok and successful pings, but an internal check failure code 01. I can't find any reference to this code in the forums or on your website. Is there an issue with the device?

Based on what I'm seeing on the server, I don't think there's a fix for yours in the field, but I'll have to check with Shaun on next week before I can say for sure.Having this same issue, "internal checks failed code 01". Also tried logging in from my laptop, no full menu, just a way to change my password and go back.
Is there a fix for this?
