need help with immobiliser

Here we go I have a golf estate 1.6 1j my customer drilled through his key to put a keyring on to it and drilled through his immobiliser transponder now car wont start aye have tryed program a second hand key that I had but nothing can anyone help. Can I turn the immobiliser off .....
