I thought the same thing Uwe, why not take it to the dealer under warranty. Then I realized its probably 3 yrs. 36K warranty, so time was up ; I believe its a MY2018. Most likely to many "launches" .
Guys, don't believe the propaganda ; Audi's are luxury cars first, with a RS edge (trim and carbon goodies) to them.... that's it. (not to mention all wheel drive).
I'm not saying that they are fragile, but drag cars they are Not!

It's such a shame that the "German Engineering" that made German cars so good, stopped being used 20+ years ago... They really make some crap now!

The DRC (100% mechanical adjustable damping) on my B7 RS4 failed needing a new valve block (cost nearly $2000 fitted, fortunately under warranty/goodwill). What did I do? Swerve to avoid 3 men walking along a dual carriageway which was signed as a no pedestrian zone late at night wearing dark clothing who suddenly appeared round a curve - not an extreme manoeuvre but enough to destroy the most expensive part of the DRC system.

It is the punitive stupid emissions regulations that are to blame
For the fragility of engines and transmissions, no doubt. Robustness and efficiency are at odds when it comes to designing these. As for the rest of the car, for example @PetrolDave's suspension, much less so. There it's just the complexity that VAG engineers in, because they can.
Three years ago, I ordered a pickup truck. No, it's not a VAG product; VW doesn't sell pickups here in NAR. Anyway, air suspension was an option. Every time I read about people's woes with air or other active suspensions here, I'm thankful that I didn't tick that box on the order sheet.

As a novice welder you very quickly learn not to leave any skin exposed as the resulting radiation burns are like sunburn with knobs on. By the age of 40 my hands looked like those of an 80 year old.So Bruce... No shirts with rolled up sleeves... ref: 5:24 in that video

Can everyone see the welding helmet shaped relief on my chest???
In my defense, I was wearing rugby sorts, so I didn't have trouble elsewhere. I wasn't wearing jandals (thongs, flip-flops etc), because I already learned about the the hot molten balls of metal getting caught between them and the soles of my feet... Maybe 3 or 4 times! No I'm smart enough to only ever weld in bare feet!
AND... by wearing bare feet, it allows you to QUICKLY lift you feet off REALLY HOT things, being things get to serious...
... maybe...
