Svalbard?

I'm shivering just thinking about 78N. :D

Yepp. Due to global warming it's not that cold. Just a few degrees below freezing.

But we only have approx. 10 miles of road here. That sucks. But I'm bringing the car down to the mainland for
summer holidays. Looking forward to that.

Yeah, I was going to ask you about that... Google Maps shows essentially no roads up there. Having an S4 there seems a lot like having a nice boat -- in the middle of the Sahara desert.

No its not global warming.......... it is climate change...........get with the times.
Couldn't possibly be the Cobra weather dominator or HARP.

Update:

I replaced the old clockspring with a brand new one but now VCDS can't even open communication to the new steering module.
So it looks like I have to throw in the towel and let Audi handle this now.

And a good thing it's almost christmas cause the dashboard now really lights up like a christmas three with this new module installed :-/

Final update:

The last 'new' clockspring was faulty. Bought it from a east european dealer which claimed it was a new part. It was heavily corroded and looked like it been soaked
in water for months. No wonder it didn't work. Keep away from http://www.cars-equipment.com/

Bought a new one from ECS Tuning. Finally it worked. Doing the Basic Settings, Finding End Points and recode steering module
was a piece of cake. No need to visit an Audi dealer for recoding the module.
