Hi

I own an A6 C7. I saw many tutorails dealing with 07-Settings in Module 09. Unfortunatly on my car when I open this calculator I have a warning saying its unknown and there's no labels available in settings. Is it an issue with my installation of VCDS or is this module too new ? (the car was produced in 2015). Here is the autoscan of this module :

Code:
Address 09: Cent. Elect. (J519) Labels: REDIR FAIL!
   Part No SW: 4H0 907 063 DH HW: 4H0 907 063 AH

No fault code found.

Comparing to other published autoscans, I've noticed that the I have "Labels: REDIR FAIL!" whereas other people have "Labels: 4H0-907-063.clb"

I checked on the VCDS install and the clb file exists :
Code:
Labels/4H0-907-063-V1.clb

Does the issue comes from the "-V1" in the file name ? Shall I rename/copy the file to Labels/4H0-907-063.clb ? Or make a copy as 4H0-907-063.clb in Labels/User ?

Actually I have this error on 4 modules :
Code:
Address 01: Engine (J623-CRTE) Labels: Redir Fail!
   Part No SW: 4G2 907 311 C HW: 4G2 907 401
--
Address 03: ABS Brakes (J104) Labels: Redir Fail!
   Part No SW: 4G0 907 379 S HW: 4G0 907 379 S
--
Address 09: Cent. Elect. (J519) Labels: REDIR FAIL!
   Part No SW: 4H0 907 063 DH HW: 4H0 907 063 AH
--
Address 5F: Information Electr. (J794) Labels: REDIR FAIL!
   Part No SW: 4G1 035 193 A HW: 4G1 035 193 A

I've only found 2 corresponding clb files :
Code:
Labels/4G0-907-379-V1.clb
Labels/4H0-907-063-V1.clb

I have this issue both with the latest french and english stable version of vcds (18.2). I'm pretty sure that in a previous version of VCDS this was working correctly at least for the 09 calculator ???

Any hint ?

Thx !

4H0-907-063-DH has a redirect to 4G0-907-379-V2 4H0-907-063-V2, which doesn't exist yet.

Hi

Thanks for your answers but I'm not sure I understand.

When looking to 4G-03.lbl file where the redirect seems to be located, it's said it's a file for Brakes Calculators. I'm dealing with 09 so as far as I understand if there's a redirect it should be in a xx-09.lbl file isn't it ?

Did you mean 4H0-907-063-V2.lbl ?

I found such a file in the german installation of VCDS (./Labels/DRV/4H0-907-063-V2.clb)
Does it mean a german version exists but not yet a french or english one ?
Can I copy the german one to my french or english installation ?

(really a newbie, thx for your understanding)

Regards

Your control module part number is:
4H0-907-063-DH, and it is at address 09.
So if there is a redirect file, it will be 4H-09.lbl or 4H-09.clb, and I am not sure why you think that "4G-03.lbl" is relevant to this module.

No, a German label file will not work with a French or English VCDS.

Is there something specific you are trying to accomplish?

Hi

Thanks for your patience

I was talking about 4G-03.lbl because it's the only file I found that contains a redirect to 4G0-907-379-V2 :
Code:
4G-03.lbl:REDIRECT,4G0-907-379-V2.CLB,4G0-907-379-Q
4G-03.lbl:REDIRECT,4G0-907-379-V2.CLB,4G0-907-379-S
4G-03.lbl:REDIRECT,4G0-907-379-V2.CLB,4G0-907-379-T

I would have found it more logic to have a redirect to something like 4H0-907-063-V2 ? If I understand well this kind of redirect should be in 4H-09 file, but these are crypted file (.clb), thus I can't check If my guess is correct... And 4H0-907-063-V2.clb is a file that exists in the german installation of VCDS (VCDS18021DE-Setup), thus my questions ;-)

Anyway what I wanted to do is :
- Enable Independent Fogs control with high beams
- kerb lighting
- daytime running lights adjustable via MMI/Car menu
- daytime running lights inactives with turn signal
- Disable DRL dim on turn signal
- Headlights on all the time
- Tail lights on with front DRLs
- Engine sound menu in Audi Drive Select
- Suppress start & stop
- Try to change rooftop from tilt to open when using key

All these hints are on calculator 09

What I find strange is that I'm sure I was able tosetup things like kerb lighting with a previous release of VCDS ? Or they changed something in the car in my revision visiti to the garage ?

Will it work if I use the german version (and google translate) ?

Regards

Apologies. It seems I made a copy & paste error in post number 2. I have fixed it.

I just checked older data versions, going back about 3 years, and I don't see how it would be possible for a label file to have been present for that particular module.

Or they changed something in the car in my revision visiti to the garage ?
Do you have an older scan to compare?

Right around the point where these cars were facelifted, roughly 2014/2015 depending on the model, we started splitting the 03 and 09 files into V1 and V2s because the coding charts varied. For that reason it is possible that an old version of VCDS which pre-dated the label split could have loaded the older files.

(Uwe, this is similar to our 2015+ T'regs that don't have 09 EN labels because 15 was a facelift year).

Hi Paul. You won't be able to use the German file from a regular installer in in English VCDS because of the encryption.

I don't think I sent you that German 09 file (encrypted for English VCDS) when we spoke via email. Don't hesitate to ping us back with a link to this thread if you'd like to use it for 09 coding data with EN VCDS.

Edit. I see a newer reply from you in our Inbox. I'll send you a file in reply to that.

Hello Dana
Is there any way to get new label for Audi A6 C7,5 - J519 - Central Electronics J519 unit?

I have in my car:
SW: 4H0 907 063 DG HW: 4H0 907 063 AG

What i read, it should have the name:
4H0-907-063-V2.clb

ENG language is ok.
If you have only GER, and you send me German texts, i translate it to ENG and return it to you.

I did not find it in beta version also.

Thank you
Tomas

Hi Tomas,

I have a facelift 7P T'reg with that V2 BCM1 and recently started translating the file into English but it isn't complete. For that reason, don't worry about translation for us.

I can send you the German file provided to plc if you want to experiment this weekend with coding. We have 3 email addresses for you on file sand I'll send it to the gmail.com account with a link to this thread. Replying to that mail with a complete scan and 09 Adp and MVB maps would be helpful because I spotted some discrepancies (like the rear wiper in reverse Adp channel) that don't match my Touareg and I may encounter additional conflicts between the brands.

Best,
Dana
