Hello all. I've recently run into a strange issue and was hoping someone here could help. A couple years ago, I installed a euro switch in my 2009 GTI. With this, I disabled the DRL's (which disabled the light in my instrument cluster) and everything has worked fine. Recently, I was tinkering around with my CECM coding and somehow managed to make it so that my DRL light remains on in my instrument cluster (even with the parking brake up, turns off when my headlights/parking lights are on). Now, my DRL's are most certainly disabled in my coding, and enabling them does nothing to make my DRL's work. The xenons never turn on, even though the DRL light on the cluster works normally (off with parking brake up, on when parking brake released). I have tried enabling the DRL's and setting the fogs as DRL, and the fogs work.
I'm really lost at this point, and I'm starting to wonder if I have damaged my CECM. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
