When I hover above, I get no hints pop up. I have a rear ride height issue; I believe the residual pressure valve(s) are not allowing air to escape the rear air springs. When I go in with VCDS to look at ride height sensor values, I can't get far and VCDS disallows any attempt at entry, sure to a missing or wrong security code. Ultimately I'll be lowering the Q, but let's wrestle one alligator at a time.

OK, we have some security codes for for that Level Control module, but I really think you should fix whatever is causing that Level Sensor fault before you try any of the procedures that require a security code. With whatever is causing that still extant, there's a good chance those procedures won't complete and may make things worse.

Agreed. Since I've last reached out, I've disconnected the rear air lines from the valve block and the rear stays high. I've attempted to use the rear lower-to-load feature. I believe one or both rear residual pressure valves is stuck, not allowing air to release from the rear air bags.

What's the hot tip for replacement shocks for the air ride Q7/Cayenne/Touareg? Air bags are fine, shocks are sloppy at 167k miles....I'm guessing they're OEM....I bought the car at 152k miles.

This car does have a lot of issues, doesn't it?! I'm a retired IMSA/CART/F1 engineer, so none of it intimidates me, just takes time. How does one eat an elephant?.....
