I'm new here and whant to share my problem I met yesterday.
had costumer with Passat 2008 with EPB module failure so got second hand off junkyard. Unfortunately I didnt know that you must save full log for other modules because newer models might lost their coding. After Installing other EPB module and coding from old module, parking brake started to work but all other lights like abs, esp, tire pressure, airbag, glow light etc lit on dash. ABS coding was lost and got no coding calculator for 7 digit code. Made account here so maybe someone here could help me out but meanwhile my account verification I got help from another forum and my problem was solved. This coding list might help other's in future or Ross-Tech should add this list to ABS module!

For example I had a 2.0 diesel with automatic transmission with 4x4 off road, indirect tire pressure monitoring and PLA2:
4096 + 512 + 256 + 1092 = 5956, coding is 0005956.
after that you need to do basic settings/adaptation but as VCDS failed to adapt electrical steering rack I had to use ODIS to finish the job
