I didn't accuse you of arguing.

And, I didn't mean to kick you in the nuts, (well, kinda) but we have had a LONG conversation about the coils, and all I have heard is how its wrong. "Ground this", "This is wrong", "My way is obviously better, but I won't tell you or show you why", is all that I've heard.

Notice I've added one of my favorite comments to you to my signature....

I respect you, and I specifically asked for you your help..

Seriously, I went to thread to point you to it and was like shit, the dam picture is gone.......

I did this great archive I have somewhere & on the 3.6 VR6, but it will work good for you and that thread, just have to find it.

I had it setup as a power point at one time to show progression.

It takes time to do too, which is why I broke your balls about getting back so fast, "like yup DONE!"

I felt like you just filled in all the test answers with random or the same blocks checked..........

I have had assholes call me up for years and say hey Jack can you or do you know someone who can delete all these slight misfires codes?
Each time I told them fuckin no way & it was the grounds and they said the same bullshit as you with apprehension and then they bring the car and I do it and they are gone as a result of correcting the problem properly.

Now you may indeed have boost issues too but that is another problem and which I think you verified for an N75 leaking by to the WG motors.

Copy that.

to be honest, I forgot about the compression test. I'll get a compression guage tomorrow, to fill in the gaps.

I'll post the results of the test.

I wont leave this thread open ended, hopefully it isn't too long for someone like me to read all the way though, so you won't have to be bothered again. I will post the final fix. I still think my problem is the N75, but I need to know how I can make the 2.0 coils better yet.

Got any Kool-aid yet?

you misspelled that....

It's ABDUCT TAPE.

It really only subdues the sound. But the trunk helps. And a true dual with no cats, depending on the lung volume and vocal cord condition.

ask me how i know.....

I seemed to have burned up a fuel pump relay today.

After driving home from work, and then going to get the kids from school and arriving home again, the car wouldn't start for shit.

I had a blown fuse, which didn't check out in the owner's manual. that is a worthless waste of paper and ink. It said that the fuse that blew was #27 vacant. Nope. It was a 20 amp fuse. 28 is listed as a fuel pump fuse. that was blown. Weird!!

pulling the fuel pump relay left me more confused...It would click like it was closing, but wouldn't show voltage. I had continutity across 86, 87a and 87. but no voltage. I'm guessing the resistor is toast, but I was reading 45 ohms across 30 and T.

I opened it up, and it was closing, but I don't know why I cant find voltage. I thought if a relay closed, it sent voltage. I've never had one fail this way.

that is all I could pull from auto scan.

I can still get into the measuring block for engine. but it won't tell me anything.

got any ideas?

Engine and alarm came up highlighted in red in the VAG scans...

It's acting like an immobilizer, but I shouldn't have one for a 2000 S4....

Change the N80 or unplug it to see if short goes to open for testing and tone out harness as per the RTFB in WD.

Check grounds to coils and ECU & entire consumer bus, especially OXS sensors x4 for heaters being melted and clearly readiness tampering and maybe DTC's missing.

No power to fuel pump.

It doesn't try to prime, fuel pump relay closes. Both that I have tried.

Found the problem, but why doesn't it have power?
