Security Access Error "7F" whilst attempting to calibrate back up camera Audi A3 8V
Hi, my name is Andy and I've been using VCDS on several different cars over the years originally with a HEX-CAN lead and have recently bought a later HEX-V2 lead from Gendan.
Anyway, I've come a bit unstuck with a backup / reversing camera retrofit on a 2017 Audi A3 8V.
The camera install has gone perfect and it's all coded and working perfectly (this is my own personal car) however I'm left with a single fault code for the camera calibration.
I've attempted to follow the calibration guide on the forums here but I can't get past the security access.
When I enter the code "22351" in Module 6C "Back-up cam" and click Do it!, I get the error message "Controller refused to send a seed! Error 7F:Service not supported in active session".
Now, I've tried several times with and without the engine running. Tried MMI resets etc.. Can't seem to get past this.
Does anyone know what exactly that error message is telling me and the normal cause?
I've popped up a few screenshots below and attached a scan. The databus fault message in the scan below is cleared, just the calibration message remains
