How do I become a verified user?

Do I have to purchase a cable before I can be a verified user? I already leased one and returned it because I could not connect to the CAN gateway. I would like to ask questions about my CAN gateway problem before purchasing a cable.

Yes, you must be the registered user of a VCDS system before you can be a Verified User on this forum.
