Hello, I am trying to fit acc to a 2017 vw caddy I have cruise as standard also the radar and emergency braking, so I am about to fit a steering wheel with the acc button but was wondering if someone could give me the correct coding preferably from a caddy with acc.

Hi just wondering if anyone has managed to retro fit acc to a gen 4 vw caddy yet, I am still on with this retrofit and seems like the abs pump is the same on a acc model but could it b swap protection causing the problem.

I don’t think it’s swap. This platform should not have SWaP scheme yet. Although Caddy has always been kind of a ”cross-kitchen” model so well, could be???

What I would make sure is that your ABS supports ACC. Usually ESPMK100 pump does not, you need ESP IPB pump for it.

Mk100 does aupport it, like it does on T6, and also acc radar is CP. Most likely it's fec too.

Thanks very much for the replies, I found a caddy with acc so I asked vw parts if it had a different abs pump than mine but they said it was exactly the same. So would you ask if I could have the cp or swap removed then try to code the abs module.

Ok, thanks for clarification. I did not know that. As I wrote, Caddy is a strange animal as it has parts from all over the VW parts bin. In MQB only IPB supports ACC so my assumption was that it's the case with Caddy as well.

As the ACC is SWaP, then you won't get this one easily. Officially there's no way to retrofit ACC. CP you can get removed, but FeC enablation. No go.

Thanks, as I am thinking is SWaP like cp then I am not sure what FeC is perhaps then it's not possible on the caddy shame becuse I thought could have got around it by coding mabe abs pump.

That’s why I was so suspicious about the ACC needing a swap code. Usually there’s an error in ACC ”Disconnected” and a reason that it is not allowed. Also CP is visible even with older interface.

If you can get the newer hex2 interface and autoscan the car with that. You should get the real error messages and what’s causing them.

Thanks, you could be correct I spoke with vw parts and they said the abs pump on my caddy was the same pump as a acc model but I am unsure I've tried today to change the abs coding and engine coding but no luck so still clutching a straws.
