Not new to VWs or VCDS but new to this forum. I was a member of Audiworld back in late '99 and my current username on vwvortex has been around since 2006. Ive had a diagnostic cable since I bought my 2000 Audi A4 new in late 99. I think I bought a cable off audiworld that had a clear plastic cover(that someone made for audiworld users before 3D printing existed) over the electrical board and Im not sure if I even used it before I broke it hah. Aaanyway, since I cant post in any other forums yet, Ill post here and see if anyone has an idea.
Ive done a few tweaks already but I have one main issue with my Alltrack I'm trying to resolve via VCDS. I have installed a Torklift hitch for my bike rack. Ive searched and cant find anything related to this problem even though there are lots of people with sensors, backup cameras and bike racks. When I have the rack installed the sensors (obviously) detect it. The problem I run into is, when you put the car in reverse, the backup camera comes on and the sensors go crazy. If you press the button to turn off the sound from the sensors it also turns off the backup camera.
Is there any way to to silence the beeping from the sensors but have the backup camera still show up on the screen?
