It does not show up on the auto-scan. That doesnt have anything to do with 'program'. You have a wiring or control module fault.

Agree, I already checked and the Airbag unit found it full of water, and I already bought the new unit only when I passed the information from one to the other saying that it does not receive the code I had.:cry:

Hello, not the unit now no longer answer, sure so I disconnected, I did not have the information of the old, I think I'm going to clone it.

OK, it looks to be a straightforward index-based coding. This raises the question, what index ("color code") is the replacement airbag module?

If it does not accept the same coding as the old one, it does not have the same index, and chances are good that it is not the correct one for the car.

If both the old and new have identical ZYB codes you might want to try using non-zero WSC, Equipment and Importer numbers before attempting to code it again. However, if the index codes don't match the new coding would be different as Uwe mentioned.

If that new Airbag module happens to need parameters (similar to a flash) my fear is we may not be able to code it with VCDS. That's the worst-case scenario but I figured I'd mention it.

what did not work was the color code, the importer gave me the unit that corresponded and managed to program it without any problem,
