Change the DPF or cleaning it with household products?

Hi,

My DPF is reaching its limit.

Should I:

1) Change it with a genuine one (900€).

2) Change it with a non genuine one (450€).

3) Let a professional company clean my original DPF (250€).

4) Dismantle and clean it white household products (20€ for the household cleaning products).

All prices are considering that all the labour is done by me.

When I said "genuine" I was reference to OEM e quality.

I can get a Walker DPF, which they claim to be OEM quality, for 900€.
The Silicon Carbide is around 1000€.
The Cordierite is around 900€.

How much is your time worth? I.e. what is the potential loss (beyond the 20 Euros) if you try cleaning it yourself, you re-install it, and then you find you need to buy a new one anyway?
