Hello all,
Recently swapped my 2011 MK6 GTI 02Q (KZS) 6-speed transmission to a 2012 MK6 Beetle 02Q (MWS) 6-speed transmission for longer gearing (bigger turbo). The MFD no longer displays the correct gear being used, is there a way to code this so that it recognizes what I'm assuming is the correlation between wheel and engine speed? If not, is there a way to turn this indicator off completely?
Also, I don't use cruise control but others have said that cruise control no longer works with this transmission swap.
