Dear forum members.
We have a audi s1 year 2016.
Its rebuild from a right hand drive to a left hand drive.
The problem and question:

1- everything works the opposite, like windows/mirrors
If we swap the control module passenger door to driver door everything is just fine. The problem we get if we swap the control modules is that if we shut down the car and open the left door (the car thinks) the right door is opened. so the dashbord lights stay on and the radio keeps playing.

2- In the instrument cluster we cant find any coding that resolve this problem, we think the cangateway wil recognize the door positions. If we try to long code the can gateway all the bits are blank and the vag-com tells me to contact ross-tech. After contacting Ross tech they told me to post here and you guys could help me a right coding.

looks like the door modules don't care whether they are LHD or RHD.
if there is a coding for it, I suspect it's BCM or gateway...

Well Andy it does matter of coding , at least in MK6 Golf/Jetta ,and I wold assume in A1 will be same, it will have in coding RHD or LHD.

I thinks this is the key for his problem.

If it is possible at all, I don't know.

Looking at coding, with PR code L0R to L0L, for some of the ECU's, I found these:
[08] Remove Byte 1 Bit 5
[19] Remove Byte 8 Bit 0
[55] Activate Byte 5 Bit 1
[5F] Remove Byte 2 Bit 0
You can test it.

Looking at the parts catalogue, there are also clusters ending with 900 and 950 and these are without the trip computer (so definetly B/W). Clusters ending with 930 and 980 are with trip computer and usually the higher numbers are higher equipment parts. On VW-s clusters ending with 80 (like 3AA 920 880) are usually with color displays. So to deduct, 980 also should be with a color display.
