    Also in kessy the reader coil connected to the cluster, take a look to the wiring diagram in the previous posts (this is a must for the key to work in emergency cases as the key battery died)

    Once a kessy key being programmed and the kessy module correctly coded , the transmitter inside the kessy key is also programmed.

    I am not quite sure about the procedure, but being able to program an ordinary key is also open the road to kessy key programming

    This is NOT true, they do carry out security checks in the UK, (I had to send in so many forms and also copy off passports, driving licence's etc to get my Geko access)

    You are totally right.
    I am just posting this because we had a discussion here that MQB kessy keys is impossible to program outside the dealer.
    But it seems this give me some hope once I start the retrofit.

    Dear Friends,
    The harness for the KESSY system should arrive tomorrow or after tomorrow, I would like to ask , what coding and adaptation required after installation.
    My car is ready for the retrofit, all door panels are removed, also the rear bumper since I was working on blind spot system, it should not take time wiring everything, but I need the adaptations and coding to be ready so I can make sure to save time to start searching for an experienced lock smith who can help with keys and how I can wake up the kessy.
    I believe with correct wiring and coding I can use emergency start with my old key until I figure out what to do with programming keys.

    Any input from your side guys will help me a lot, specifically whom having experience with such kind of hard retrofitting.

    Before you start please post an autoscan. Did you fit the blind spot radars and side mirrors? Does it work?

    Dear myounus,
    I will post an autoscan for sure, regarding the blind spot, yes I fitted it, and it works fine , just the guys recommended to do calibration, and I will ask the dealer to do it.
    I will post also an auto scan and admap for the 3C lane change assist module J1068, but not here, in the main thread for the Blind spot retrofitting.
