The parameter is incorrect

I can't access any module with my vcds, all worked perfectly last week with the same set up. Out of no ware I get a VCDS error pop up message when I try to access any module stating "The parameter is incorrect" . Tested the connection in options and all shows ready and ok. Tried to restart the laptop and car but issue still remains.
What is wrong?

Can you post a screen-shot of this error please? It is not something I've seen or heard of before.

I uninstalled VCDS and reinstalled it and now all is working again.
I'm not using a clone of any kind by the way.

I don't have the error messages anymore so I linked to one found on google.
Same pop up but stated "VCDS" instead of "Virtual Disk Manager"

What interface? Your HEX-NET or your HEX+CAN?

If HEX-NET, WiFi or USB?

What version of Windows and what kind of computer?

The string, "The parameter is incorrect" comes from the OS, not from VCDS...
