01179 - Incorrect Key Programming 000 - - Problem

I bought a 2009 JSW and it came with one key. I ordered a new one from a very reputable non-dealership. I took the key to the dealer to get it programed to the car. They were able to get the key programed, but not program the locks. I called the company I bought it from and talked to them about it. They were very helpful and sent me out two more chipsets and the VAG-COM cable to program it myself. I have attempted several times following the directions exactly. I have un-programmed my original key and programmed it back, so I know its correct. The problem is that I cannot get it programmed either nor with the other chipsets. Any ideas on where to start?

If you've un-programmed your original fob and re-programmed it again, then VCDS and the car are doing what they are supposed to be doing. That really only leaves the aftermarket fobs as the potential source of the problem, right?

I thought the same and so did the supervisor for where I bought them from. However the other two chipsets he sent me also didn't work. Maybe a bad batch, but having 3 not work seems odd.

In the meanwhile it sounds like the aftermarket sourced remote(s) are either wrong or defective. PL24 shows "1K0 959 753 P" so your functional (original) remote should have that part number printed on it. If the aftermarket sourced remotes have VW part numbers on them make sure they are P suffixes.

I can't help you with that but the part number on the plastic housing is a P suffix so that confirms the parts catalog is correct. Personally, I'd just get a pair of used 1K0 959 753 P remotes and hope both are in good working order.
