Yes, of course you can ask. I'll probably move your question to a more appropriate section of the forum than The Bar, but that's no big thing.

Oh, and no, I'm not the "expert" on car repair stuff like DPFs. I'm just the nut who decided it would be cool to have some affordable diagnostic software for VW/Audi cars all those years ago.
