Window regulator

Hi guys having trouble with 2006 Beetle convertible the left front door window regulator repair kit trying to install the cable through the last pulley it says that I need VWM100 cable installer. I could not find that tool in any of my pockets so I'm asking does anybody know or has had luck or success installing that cable without that tool or even with that tool the cable looks way too short I don't know what that tool is going to do. miraculously let me know if anybody's got experience

How do 3 Armenians get cables on without vwm100. One holds Channellock pliers against window regulator body and window holder bracket, while the other two use a needle nose pliers and screwdriver to turn the cable on to the wheel. It is very tight but it did work so if anybody can use this information down the line you do not need that tool. Will update how long the regulator last
