Hello guys, I am trying to retrofit bi-xenon, from halogen, on a facelift 2012 Audi a5. With everything on the car (adapters and headlights) with original BCM 8K0 907 063 AC xenon was flickering and I wasn't able to change byte 00 to 26 so decided to change BCM. I had a scan from a S5 (same year) with bi xenon and decided to look for the same part number BCM 8K0 907 063 DH. I have installed the new BCM, Component protection is still active, and bi xenon don't flicker anymore but now I cannot code byte 2, bit 4 for DRL and I have no high beam. The headlight work in the following sequence:
switch on 0 = DRL on and I can flash with low beam
switch on Auto = main beam is on and no flashing capabilities
Switch on Parking lights = nothing is on but allows me to flash with main beam
switch on main beam = main beam is on

Component protection was removed, is only affecting interior lighs when is active. I am starting to suspect that i’ve got the wrong adapters as they don’t have extra wires to go to BCM for high beam.

in the link attached in the previous post you have the adapter 14 pin connector versus 10 pin connector (headlight original plug)

I'd double check the connection from the bcm to pin 11. Although it's very difficult to read the numbers.

According to Kufatec manual PIN 11 should go to BCM brown plug pin 12 and red plug pin 2. What this pins have to do with DRL though? I always thought that PIN 11 from the adapters which go to BCM are for high beam shutter only. Are they actually controlling the DRL as well?
