I use for a long time VCDS, and I see on this forum has a lot of interesting topics, and decided to spend a little time on it ...

I signed up to this forum earlier in the week, and after checking my profile, it says I am a verified VCDS user, but when I go to the repair thread to post, it states I have no permission still... what do I do?

Thanks everyone. I'll email ross-tech tonight when I have my serial and information available again, but my challenge and issue with the vehicle is that I am getting both the P0401 (1025) and the P2015 code. I have noticed no real change in driving performance. While I see a list of 401 codes online and all sorts of horror stories with egr filters, dpf cracked, etc, I have yet to see one with the P2015 fault at the same time.
The history of this is the following:
Around 74k, P0401 code, cleared, no reoccurrence for about 2k
Around 76l P0401 code, P2015 on. Remove and inspect EGR valve at intake and checked visually, no bad soot reconnect. Noticed Intake flap wheel was popped off, push back on and cleared codes. Code pops up again after 100 miles, wont stay off now. I am now at about 86k miles, and with this vcds, I have checked function movement of EGR valve seems to be working (have not removed and actuated yet). I have actuated intake flap and it moves the arm (the one that was found popped off). When it actuates there is about a 3-4 second delay in command and the flapper moving. When it does move in and out, the engine makes an ever so light change in sound and rpm, I believe this is evidence that the flapper is opening and closing as it should, and that it is not clogged as it changes the engine sound and rpm slightly.
So, clear the codes again and with VCDS running while driving, I can go either 2 miles, or 10 miles and either the P2015 comes on first, or the P0401 comes on first (so there sometimes only one code is thrown at once, but eventually both pop up).

If I am breaking DAS RULES, I can wait for VCD verification can will copy this to it. But thanks for any help.

I have problem with registration of my interface, I bay it from PCI Diagnosetechnik GmbH & Co. KG, four years ago, and on interface I have serial in this form ABCD123456-A12, on example i see form HCXXXXX, and they don't mach with long serial number from about!? Any know someting about this?

On the registration form, you only need 2 of the 3 numbers, Short Serial Number (HCXXXXXX), Long Serial Number ( found on About screen) or Certificate number (ABCD123456-A12).
