I’m working on setting up my Hex-Net and it was truth to update firmware then got stuck. I’ve read some instructions about holding the reset button when plugging in for atleast 10 seconds etc.
none of that worked on mine, and now i can’t seem to get past the Test stage

Port status:OK
Interface: Not Found!

Any new places to start looking or researching?

It appears i can get all the way to the point of checking for updates on web browser step 3C and then it stops. It pulls up a darker window stating “checking for updates” The it just goes away and that’s that.

Is it in Infrastructure Mode?

What happens if you do [Options] -> [Self Test] -> [Advanced Network Test]?

It seems to have a kinda “processing “ status bar that seems to just go on forever but i get zero results, well atleast about 5min in

There was one screen that did say mode: infrastructure.

Found and tried the :45 reset button with exact timing it... still no change.

That sounds like it's not connected to an infrastructure network, or that the network it's on doesn't have outside internet access. Try network config again and make sure it's in infrastructure mode and connected to your wifi router.

Tried network config and confirmed it’s connected to router Through the router. Shows that it is connected.

I’m thinking I’m stuck in infrastructure mode and resetting doesn’t seem to help.

Ok lets start by making sure you can connect to your home wifi network. Is the middle led on the HEX-NET green? In the utility, does the overview screen show your home SSID and an IP address that is not 0.0.0.0 ?

And you can access VCDS-Mobile by entering that IP in a browser? What color is the middle led? Is the router possibly putting it on something like a "guest network" were it has limited outside internet? If this is something like a captive portal, were the user has to click a notification in order to use the network, the HEX-NET can't do this on it's own. Do you have another network or a phone that does tethering you could try to connect to?
