Since the implementation of experimental codings I often switch from regular coding to experimental.

This happens as follows:

  1. go to a module that supports experimental coding
  2. select Coding
  3. start LCode (long coding helper) with "normal" labels, denying use of experimental ones
  4. notice, that the required information is not present there
  5. exit LCode to switch to experimental coding

However at this point the Long coding helper button is disabled so I have to leave the Coding subdialog before entering it again. Only then I am able to switch to experimental labels.

Could this be changed, so the user does not has to leave the coding dialog?

Done. This had been bothering me too. Required some thread/process magic to see if LCode is still running or not, because we'd been doing it in other ways until now, and that didn't give VCDS the info needed for this kind of operation
