    Data logs not saving

    Iíve been using my HEX-CAN cable for years on my Touareg, GTI and A4. I recently purchased a B8.5 Q5 2.0T and after I log data from the Q5 and open my log file on my PC, the CSV file appears to be there but when I open the file, it is a file from a previous log. The date is labeled correctly in the folder but when I open the CSV file, it is an old log.

    Only if I delete the old log will I be able to log, save and view a new data log.

    Any idea whatís going on?

    That could be a permissions issue. I would try installing another installation of VCDS in Documents (for example C:\Users\your user PC account name here\Documents\VCDS test) to see if the same occurs.
