I bought a new cable and i am trying to auto scan. Vcds will not perform an auto scan. If i select my model in the drop down, it will scan but it only finds limited modules. Maybe 4. I have not been able to properly register the dongle and there is an aftermarket radio in the car.

It is a 2005 mk4 jetta. I will post scans this evening when i get home and do it again
It seemed to not be able to communicate with all the modules. Should i unhook the aftermarket stereo interface. It uses the klines to support accessory power using the key.
Please post what it does find before you start pulling your hair out. 
On a 2004, an aftermarket radio isn't high on my list of things to worry about because the K-line (single-wire diagnostic bus) didn't go to directly to the radio in that car.
