Not exactly sure why you blocked out the exact firmware version information you're asking about in your pics. That isn't exactly a secret. You are likely on CB 4401.

Looks like what happened is the VCDS Beta got pushed to public but the accompanying CB 4407 hasn't, which I'm sure will be fixed momentarily. When that happens, the VCIConfig utility will upgrade you. Sit tight for a bit and keep using Release 17.8 if you need VCDS right this second.

Edit: what Eric says below instead. :)

Yeah we overlooked something, but it's a little more complicated. The new VCIConfig lets people choose whether they want to be on the Release (currently 4401) or Beta (currently 4407) channel. Except for this to work, they need to be at least on 4402 :facepalm: We didn't catch it because all of us and our testers are on Beta or Alpha channels, or have newer CBs in their interfaces. We're trying to get to the right people (mostly Shaun) so we can put something 4402+ on the release channel :).

Hey turbocip and Al Bundy -- I have both of you guys in our records but only for older HEX+CAN interfaces. If you have a HEX-NET or HEX-V2 I can manually put it on the Beta channel for you, but only if I have the serial number. Feel free to PM me your serial number (HN1-nnnnnn or H1x-nnnnnn).

Both of you guys should be able to update now.

CB 0.4407 will probably go on Release soon -- that's the cleanest way to avoid this for now.

Sounds like a corrupt install, so please try a clean reinstall and post your complete autoscan.

Please post the complete Auto-Scan from that vehicle. If you don't want the VIN online you can e-mail it to support instead.

@Dana, Eric:
Thanks for hint, problem was solved with complete reinstall. The cause of problem was the OneDrive - while syncing, there were returned some remains of previous version files to the UDS_EV directory (more than 13000), while the 17.10 UDS_EV contains just 7580 files.
