Did my first runs on our 2012 Octavia 2 1.8 FL with HEX-V2(3) and very impressed! My main reason for buying was the newly aquired Octy had Climatronic problems and the dealer wanted to pull the dash apart ($AUS>800) to find it? I had the 80g R134 replaced with 530g and no problem. He asked to put it back on VAS(?) and declared G262 was faulty and showed me it measured 24C at ambient of 10C. (+$AUS60+$AUS136/hr) So, I bought VCDS.

The DTC dates were confusing? (Also getting used to formatting, hopefully.) I cleared the DTC generically the next day but the Group 01 was still there;

I double-clicked and cleared it and it went. Unsure why I had to do this?
Today I did some 100km at random speeds so readiness should be reducing but not yet checked.
I then checked the 'suspect' Climatronic thermistors/sensors:
And cancelled the G262 in a nice way. I still have to check the Climatronic flaps in case these had caused the problem the dealer 'diagnosed' was G262.
One 'ghost-in-the-machine' puzzled me.
The Columbus Infotainment radio messed-up? It wouldn't hold stations and the steering-wheel L/H buttons ceased to function? I rebooted the Columbus and all was well. Unsure if this was coincidental, I never went near that with VCDS.
I am very happy! When my daughter lets me have the Fabia 3 back I'll check it.
