Hi Don, Downtime, thanks for your answers/hints
Fact is the parking aid is working, i mean, the obstacle distance sensors (4x back, 4x front) are visible at the screen, and beeping correctly. I am also able to adjust the frequency and volume on the MMi, for the back detection and front independently.

What I'm not able to code properly is the automatic park assist, neither the 360 vision of the sensors, and was wiling probably has to do with the byte 0, in this 5q0919298H BCM
    Btw, it looks like so:

Additional 4 sensors are wired (4 side ones), both ABS real wheel sensors have been exchanged by the xxxxxA revision (quattro) and central button at the central switches was also wired properly.

Isn't 02 the right Hex value for Bit 1-2 then?

I don't know if I understand your problem.
There might be a coding missing in ABS/ESP...

Exaactlyy. ABS, steering assist and if I remember correctly, also instruments needs coding change for park assist to work. Also have you changed the rear ABS sensors?

    yes indeed. have performed already:
    • wired new module 5Q0919298K to the comfort can bus
    • activated in the 19 can gateway list, and set as "coded"
    • wired the speakers, the selection buttons (2x) and 12x sensors according wiring diagram taken from ELSAWIN
    • exchanged of the real wheel ABS sensors (WTH003856A and WTH003857A)
    • coding:
    • Module 01 - byte 03 - Bit 5 (active)
    • Module 03 - byte 26 - hex = changed to 50
    • Module 03 - byte 27 - Bit 1 (active)
    • Module 17 - byte 05 - Bit 4 (active)
    • Module 44 - byte 00 - Bit 1 (active)
    • Module 10 - as described in the post
    • Module 5F - Adaptation - set all to active:
      Vehicle function list BAP-parking_assist_0x0A
      Vehicle menu operation-menu_display_pdc
      Vehicle menu operation-menu_display_pdc_over_threshold_high

I`ve read two comments today that Im goint to test:
    1) it might not work with the low-res screen of 5.8.... is that true?
    2) vehicle function list BAP-parking assist 0x0A = should be KLEMME 15, not only "comfort CAN bus".

am I missing anything else? Im having a lot of fun testing, but frutration is also increasing...

this was a small but very important detail...
start looking good... now its time to punch the holes in the bumpers...

will keep playing around once it`s everything fitted into the place.
PS. the byte0, bit 1 was for RHD cars, thus not intended for me.

Where did you get this ABS code information?
Is this HEX 50 a common thing for all who retrofit this or was HEX 50 especially made based on your factory coding?

hex 50 and F0 are common. I'm not exactly sure but I seem to recall that the value is somehow related to rear axle setup. hex 50 for multi-link and F0 for non-multi-link.
On my Seat Leon Style the correct value is F0. 50 would always give a fault about rear sensors to ABS when speed exceeded 80km/h.

And good, you're getting there. Isn't retrofits fun? Especially to these MQB cars as the amount of information is very very limited at this point still.
