2002 jetta 1.8t throttle body coding help please

Hi I’m tim, new to the forum

I’m working on a 2002 Jetta 1.8T, and I swapped the throttle body from another 1.8T on it and it will not adapt. Vcds just says ERROR when I try to adapt it and it will not let me.
I was wondering if I need to recode the throttle body module since it’s from a different car it seems this car will not recognize it.
