Lost coding for abs pump 1K0907379BE on a Cupra (MK60EC1)

Hi there,

I am having some trouble with the ABS code for a 2011 Seat Leon Cupra 2.0 tfsi.
The car has the CDL engine with a KO4.

The code on VCDS for the ABS pump shows 000** all the way through and a fault shows saying incorrect coding. I have tried a few various codes from others posts and have had no luck and continuously get error 31: coding rejected with every code. It won't accept anything at all.

The pump part no. is 1K0907379BE
My cars VIN is VSSZZZ1PZBR049310
The car is in the UK and right hand drive.
It has a tyre pressure monitoring button to set the pressure.
It also has a traction control button installed.

I will post a full autoscan log as soon as I get home.

Is there any way I can get a new code for the module?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the faults regarding voltage are only on the log due to starting the car with a battery charger when I read the faults. Once cleared they don't come back until it needs starting again a week later due to the weak battery.

Just look for autoscans of Seat Cupra with google and there's also an unofficial mk60ec xpl label file for vcds long coding helper which you can use to inject your VIN numbers.

The difficulty in the mk60EC1 coding is that the code contains parts of your VIN number so you cannot just copy a code from another EC1 pump.

If not there are some small tweaks that can be done. Now there's hillhold and XDS enabled also in the code.

As far as I am aware the car in question does not have hillhold unless this is something that just needs coding in?

Usually it's just coding. Not all pumps support that so but according to the table I have, BE should support Hillhold.

So after a long search of a code, I eventually have managed to get the ABS module to take a code with no errors and full functionality.

For some reason all the codes provided on here kept giving me error 31.

Eventually after leaving it for a week and going back to it, I had a friend advise me I could use Abrites software which has a built in code calculator for all modules. I entered the VIN, part number of the abs module and other details of the car spec such as disc dia. and TPMS etc.

Then I copied and pasted the code into VCDS expecting it to not work with error 31 but magically it said "coding accepted!"

I think there may have been something wrong with my module instead of your codes. Thanks for all the help people, it is very appreciated.

Could you post the accepted code here so we could see how far off we were originally?

Also it would help us to understand the ABS codings probably a little bit better once more.

It has TPMS and XDS activated and is also for RIGHT HAND DRIVE.
Engine code is CDLD with front brakes at 345mm and rears 310mm.
Pump no. Is 1k0907379BE
