Hi,

I'm novice user, bought a Micro-CAN from ROss-Tech back in 2013 when I bought my Jetta sportwagen tdi. Sadly the car is headed but I'm excited about the Altrack on order. Wanted to find out if my Micro-CAN is compatible with the Altrack of if I would need to upgrade. Also Should I update the Ross Tech software before I give it a go on the new car. I'm mostly interested in the tweaks for the locks and lights I'm not a heavy user.

It will almost certainly talk to most of the systems in the vehicle, and quite possibly all of them, depending on equipment.

Absolutely use current software.

Then post an Auto-Scan and we should be able to tell you if anything is missing that would warrant an upgrade.

Sounds good. It will be a few weeks before the TDI is gone and the new car comes home. Bitter sweet about the whole thing and just getting my ducks in row.

OK I know it's been a wile but I've gotten the car and and updated to 17.1.3 with MICO-CAN. I've already used it a bit but the mod that I'm having issues getting the Windows open/close with keyfob button depressed. I've got a 2017 Alltrack that's keyless and can't seem to find any of the Access controls when I go Adaptation - 10 and pull down the channel list I'm not finding anything of these.

(2)-Access control 2-Comfort opening-> “active”
(3)-Access control 2-Comfort closing-> “active”
(7)-Access control 2-Funk Komfort oeffnen-> “active”
(6)-Access control 2-Funk Komfort schliessen-> “active”

need2boat: Hi and I repeat - I don't have the answer to your question - but just as a hunch, I suspect that your solution isn't in the "ZV Komfort" group (because the adaptation channels in your list relate to the general operation of the locking/unlocking facility) -but I'm guessing.

Just as an alternative suggestion, try playing with the specific sunroof channels in the BCM. Not sure if you are aware, but VW calls the sunroof "SAD" in these channels - I have no idea why since the German for sunroof is "Sonnendach".

So here are the SAD channels in the BCM:

If you are using OBD11, just ignore the leading "tags" and search for the "Parent" name" Access control 2

My guess (and it's just a guess) is that the highlighted channel above is your best-bet. Try setting this channel to not-active (again a guess)
