You need to paste the results of your Auto-Scan into a new post between

tags.

See this post for instructions on how to do that: http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?101

There are no engine related fault codes in the log so you would need to dig deeper by looking at some MBVs.

Is there any particular reason why you're running a 5 year old version of VCDS?

I don't know who you bought that pirated product from, but it certainly wasn't Ross-Tech!

    Caught red-handed!

I knew this was highly likely a counterfeit cable Even the newest version of VCDS works on ancient Windows XP and the the oldest of VAG cars so there would be no good reason that RT would ever have advised to run a 5 year old version of VCDS!

I suspect the OP's location likely isn't Australia either.

    From "here"?

Where on Ross-Tech's site do you see any VCDS version older than the current Release version, which is 17.1.3 at present?
