Volkswagen UP! ABS module lost data?

Hi folks,

For a mate, for testing purposes I swapped the tacho from his car to my car.
Which resulted that after i swapped my orignal tacho back the lights show up like on a christimas three...
I managed to bring back the damage, but some of the modules I just could not resolve.

Does anybody have codes / or suggestion how to solve the following result?

P.s. The immo = Okay, car drives like old, but the sensors are kinda messed up..

Do you have a saved copy of a previous Auto-Scan for your car anywhere? If not but you've done a previous Auto-Scan of your car in the past, look in the "C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Scans" folder and you will find auto saved copies any previous scans you've done. Make sure that any you look at are for your car. You can tell by looking at the VIN number which is specified in the name of the saved Auto-Scan file and also in the content of the file.

If you look in one of the recent saved Auto-Scan file (either one you've saved yourself or one that has been auto-saved), you should be able to find and retrieve the original coding value for your ABS module. Then just re-code your ABS module using that code.

Guys,

Today I tried to put the codes from a the donor car (same year UP!) but no success...
I get errors Error 31: Request out of range - Coding Rejected...

Why do I get this error, I tried all combinations.... I even tried it from other module with ending: 1S0 614 517 E

Im confused...

BTW the L and E version of the ABS module have same coding in the UP! models...

Are you sure the coding it is from an VW Up and not an Seat Mii ?

You can try this:

I guess it is correct (but cannot be sure), but I doubt it is accepted anyway, there is probably more needed, but you can test it.

You will need to calibrate the "Steering End Stops" for your steering assist to clear these fault codes. This can be found under "Basic Settings" in Control Module 44.

I'm not sure of the exact procedure for the VW UP! but I'm sure RT or someone else on here will be able to describe the steps you need to follow.

I tried to calibrate the steering angle sensor, but it stays showing me 0 on the measuring blocks.
tried to pull out the battery, and reset by driving max 20kmh.
tried to doe Steering Limit Stop: No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation from the main site, didnt help either..

How can I trouble shoot this, or the fact that the angle sensor reads only 0° degree

Or a link that I can follow up, I can imagen that others had this issue and reported it milion times, but I can't seem to solve it as suggested in other topics...

Mainly because most of them have MK6 or Mk5 other modules etc..

What is the exact procedure have you been trying (or the guide you have been following)?

Hi GaryM,

I heard that here in near the border of Belgium that someone does make it work (dont know how)...
But i didn't payed 500+ euro for just not beeing able to calibrate the freaking steering angle sensor

Fyi, I tried all the procedures of G85 / steering angle sensor on channel 44 or 3 ... Non of them work or can be done with the procedure.
Pulling out the battery didn't help either...

I can't start the calibration , it stops doing anything, did i miss something??

Drive (max 20 km/h), turn a little to left and right, then straight
Stop driving while straight
In idle goto [ABS-03]
[Secure access-16] enter as shown 40168
In measurement values search for "Traction"
Check Steering sensor between -2.5...2.5 °
[Basic settings-04]
Choose "Steering angle sensor"
[Go] > Look at message
[Stop]
