    VCDS® HEX-V2® Enthusiast capabilities?

As I am new here, Hi everyone.

I am considering buying the Hex-V2 and want to know if I will be able to dis-able the warning chimes for the seat belts on my 2006 VW Jetta TDI?

Yes, I'm pretty confident you should be able to do that.

Well that's what I want to hear in order to justify the purchase.
I hope I will get some more confirmation on it just the same from other users?

I disabled them on my 2008 Golf with the HEX-USB so there's no reason the V2 shouldn't do it also.

The one hesitancy I have is that 2006 NAR model Jettas used a somewhat unique/unusual instrument cluster that lacks some features that were standard in most other clusters. Unfortunately, I'm not able to find a scan from one off the cuff..

It might be possible. Here's a coding screenshot from a very early mk5 cluster (i believe from 2006 jetta) without multifunction support.

    Code:
                    Address 17: Instruments Labels: 1K0-920-xxx-17.lbl
Control Module Part Number: 1K0 920 953 CX
      Component and/or Version: KOMBIINSTRUMENT 3HL 4312
               Software Coding: 0000203
                Work Shop Code: WSC 00000 000 00000
                          VCID: 03464E4C42EA0459C6-8056
    8 Faults Found:

    00381 - Databus Instrument Cluster
                004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent

                004 - No Signal/Communication
    00771 - Fuel Level Sensor (G)
010 - Open or Short to Plus
    00779 - Outside Air Temp Sensor (G17)
010 - Open or Short to Plus
