Security Code 2017 VW Caddy

My fault, then it must be switched to "L" instead of "R".
Learning the dipping value should be possible with this procedure:

1. set requirements, switch to "L" (right hand drive) / "R" (left hand drive)
2. switch ignition on
3. select reverse gear
4. using the mirror control knob to select the desired position
5. select N or first gear
6. switch ignition off

After this procedure, the mirror should automatically return to it's old position (prior to performing the procedure). If it does, everything's fine. If not, either coding is incorrect or the module(s) do not support it.

Well, i tried as you suggested but no luck.

It seems odd that this module appears to be exclusive to the Caddy and Tiguan models, it's available as a tick box in vcds, shows the option in the MFD, but doesn't work.

Bizarre.

The only thing i can think, is that maybe are some other settings deeper into the module adaptations as i originally thought?

Willing to be educated.

The function needs to be supported by the door control modules, in your case that isn't likely.

Ok, how would I find that out for sure?

Sorry to keep on but I have quite a few factory options and after going through all the modules, there are many that don't seem to be listed in the codings e.g., park assist, acc.
