My fault, then it must be switched to "L" instead of "R".
Learning the dipping value should be possible with this procedure:
1. set requirements, switch to "L" (right hand drive) / "R" (left hand drive)
2. switch ignition on
3. select reverse gear
4. using the mirror control knob to select the desired position
5. select N or first gear
6. switch ignition off
After this procedure, the mirror should automatically return to it's old position (prior to performing the procedure). If it does, everything's fine. If not, either coding is incorrect or the module(s) do not support it.
